How you can save
Sieckmann Engineering specializes in the following three
residential solutions based on renewable electrical power:
1.
Load-shedding Solution with Renewable Energy Future Expansion
This option allows the consumer to begin with a basic
system in order to improve the reliability and availability electrical
power to the home. The system can be expanded to receive renewable energy
sources on the AC (Alternating Current) or DC (Direct Current) sides at a
later stage.
The size of the battery bank will determine the length of battery backup
time for a pre-determined load. This option could be considered as a
stepping stone for later expansion (solutions 2 and 3).
Load shedding is becoming a way of life and many
people operate small businesses from home and require a certain degree of
uninterrupted power supply to continue functioning until such time as the
power is restored.

2. Load-shedding Solution with
Renewable Energy
The following option shows how a power shift toward a
greater percentage of renewable energy can be achieved by upgrading the
system illustrated above (solution 1). During peak demands or when
renewable energy sources are unable to supply sufficient energy to the
loads, a generator or the national grid can be used to supply the balance
or charge the batteries if so specified.

3. Renewable off-grid systems standalone systems
This system is an island system which is disconnected
from the national grid. It is used mainly for power requirements in
remote areas or where no national power grid is present / wanted where
typically 100% of the generated electricity is renewable. The system can
be easily expanded to receive PV renewable or grid/diesel/Hybrid/Water
generator power on the AC side at a later stage. The size of the battery
bank will determine the length of battery backup time for a
pre-determined load.
