..getting started requires the optimisation of the current system in order to reduce the overall electrical consumption which in turn reduces the initial & ongoing cost of renewable energy infrastructures

Sieckmann Engineering intends to provide business owners and private individuals an introduction to modern renewable energy methodologies as opposed to the traditional methods which have too often been costly and ineffective.

Our in-house experience dates back to 1982 when only a few appreciated the benefits of renewable energy sources in commercial and residential applications. Starting with the concept of self-sustainability using limited technology our expertise in Off-Grid electrical systems continnues 25 years later using leading-edge technology.

Due to increased public interest and thanks to rising energy demand, Sieckmann Engineering was thus established in 2004 to provide the necessary services.

The focus changed from solar home systems (SHS) to scalable, hybrid Off-Grid, and Grid-Feeding single or three-phase electrical systems, ranging from watts to megawatts. Our technologies include Wind, Water, Photovoltaics (“Solar”), Fuel Cell and any other suitable sources of energy.

Today, we are proud to offer quality solutions to Africa.

We commit to:

  • Educating people with respect to energy efficiency.
  • Producing clean energy in small or large scale applications.
  • Providing cost-effective options.
  • Reducing the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) by catering for the future e.g. selling of power back to the National Grid.

The solution to the growing energy crisis is a decentralised energy supply.
The system should allow the customer the flexibility for further expansion.
The cost-effectiveness of the systems can be improved by making use of gas for cooking and solar heating for hot water. Consider the following options:

  • Save power by educating yourself about the consumption of your appliances and replace those that use excessive power with modern energy efficient alternatives.
  • Save approximately 40% of your electrical energy consumption by installing a thermal solar hot water system.
  • Convert to gas for cooking and boiling of water.
  • Contact us for a suitable option with combined load shedding
